Water Well Service Chico Tx (940) 389-6850

We were called out by a customer saying they had sand in their water.  When we arrived we found the problem, it was a bad check valve at the pump.  The check valve allows water to flow in one direction but does not allow it to flow back and with the water falling back into the well it stirred up the water and stirred up the sand as well as the electric bill.  How does is stir up the electric bill?  What happens is that the water will bleed back into the well and as it does is loses pressure in the pressure tank and the pump comes on again and again and again and if you are not paying attention you think is must be because we have the water on or the A/C on more than usual.  This constant on and off will shorten the life of your pump and drive up your electric bill.  So we pulled the pump put in a new check valve and her problems went away, well at least the water well problems went away I'm really not sure about any other problems she was having (LOL).  Anyway it is good just to go out and run some water in the yard and then go to your well house and listen for a moment, if something sounds funny then call us and we will talk to you over the phone and try and help you figure it out or reassure you that all is well.  (No pun intended)  You can visit our web site at www.allamericanwaterwell.com or call us at (940) 389-6850
We also just started posting videos on youtube to educate the homeowner about their well, you can find that at

Water Softener Sales Willow Park Tx

Well we just installed not a water softener but our saltfree max scale preventer (http://www.allamericanwatersofteners.com/Products.html) in Willow Park Texas.  As we were talking with the customer prior to the installation they had mentioned that the water supply was terrible and that they had received a water quality report and we were able to see it.  If you live in Willow Park Texas which is kind of next door to Weatherford Texas then you know what a serious problem you have with your water.  The good thing for our customer is the system we put in for them.  The first thing we installed was a carbon filter, which will reduce or remove many of the contaminants in their water.  Carbon filters are most effective at removing chlorine, sediment, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from water. They are not effective at removing minerals, salts, and dissolved inorganic compounds.  Then we installed our salt free max which is a scale preventer that prevents scale from building up on appliances, hot water heaters dishwashers etc.  The water in Willow Park Tx is 18 grains per gallon hard(GPG).  Water Quality Association says that 10 GPG is extremely hard, so you can tell where they stand and why it is so important to have a water softener in Willow Park Tx.  And the third thing we installed was our PuROmax 5 stage Reverse Osmosis system that gives them bottled water at their sink so they don't have to spend hunderds of dollars each year on bottled water that never even gets finished.  So for around $3,500.00 they have clean water that won't harm their appliances and is drinkable.  What a small price compared to that of new hot water heaters, dishwashers, cleaning products etc. not to mention great drinking water at pennies per gallon.  Don't delay call us today.  Let us help you.

Drinking Bottled Water in Fort Worth Tx

I was just reading the water quality report for Fort Worth Tx and found some things that you may want to think about.  First it showed that they had a positive mark for coliform.  It really is not much of a huge concern since all of us breathe coliform because it is naturally occuring.  The concern is what is being used to treat the water that people don't really know about or just don't care.  A couple of things that are used to treat the water so that there is no Coliform, E. Coli or Fecal Coliforms present in the water is Chlorine, Ammonia and Ozone.  The by-products of these disinfection techniques are harmful to the human body and that is why they are regulated by the EPA.  So the reason for this blog is to encourage people to get themselves a Reverse Osmosis System that goes under the kitchen sink.  It makes almost pure water and reduces or removes most of what is in the water.  So you can have bottled quality water at your sink.  That brings me to the next subject, bottled water. I don't always encourage bottled water because you the consumer do not know if the Membrane is doing what it is supposed to as well as the other filters because the bottles of water are being produced at such a huge quanitity they may foul long before they are changed.  If you have the same type of system under your sink you are in control of how often the filters are changed and it can be monitored more closely.  The other thing that needs to be considered is what things in the plastic bottle are being leeched into the water while it is waiting to be consumed?  Now at my house I put my R/O water into my own bottles and usually drink it the same day usually along with some sort of flavoring because I drink so much water that I like to enjoy flavor from time to time.  In order for me to get small bottles of water I still have to buy bottled water at the store and then re-use them even though it is a hassle at times atleast I know I am getting good water in my body.  Bottled water is very handy and can be taken most anywhere but I still like the fact that I know what is going into my bottle before it goes into my body.  Something else you may want to look into is the timing of when we started contracting caner and when we started chlorinating the water.  http://www.nytimes.com/1992/07/01/us/tiny-cancer-risk-in-chlorinated-water.html?pagewanted=all&src=pm   http://www.pure-earth.com/chlorine.html Here's an interesting view- "We are quite convinced, based on this study, that there is an association between cancer and chlorinated water." - Medical College Of Wisconsin research team The addition of chlorine to our drinking water began in the late 1800s and by 1904 was the standard in water treatment, and for the most part remains so today. We don’t use chlorine because it’s the safest or even the most effective means of disinfection, we use it because it is the cheapest. In spite of all our technological advances, we essentially still pour bleach in our water before we drink it. The long term effects of chlorinated drinking water have just recently being recognized. According to the U.S. Council Of Environmental Quality, “Cancer risk among people drinking chlorinated water is 93% higher than among those whose water does not contain chlorine.”  http://www.globalhealingcenter.com/health-hazards-to-know-about/chlorine-cancer-and-heart-disease

After reading these one would think twice about drinking water out of the faucet unless it is the Reverse Osmosis faucet which is where you will get some of the best water you will ever taste.

Water softener Alvord Tx

We installed a water softener the other day in Alvord Tx.  The lady told us that her toilet was not working correct so we went in to see if we could help or if I needed to call my friend from All Hours Plumbing at (940) 799-7066.  The problem was that some of the holes that the water comes out of were plugged from all the calcium in the water.  In our business we see a lot of stuff and I thought I had seen just about everything but I guess I haven't.  I was so shocked that the hard water had blocked the holes that allowed the water to come out and help the bowel dump its contents.  I told the lady that over time the soft water would clean in out and the toilet would work like new and that she did not need to buy a new one.  We will keep you updated on the results.  I really can't imagine what the hot water heater looks like on the inside and how soon will it be before she has to buy a new one.  This is what her toilet looked like

Reverse Osmosis- Good or Bad

I had a cusotmer call me the other day and tell my that RO water was not good for her.  I asked why and she said that it takes all the minerals out of the water.  She has a water softener and that the water softener takes out the minerals.  The RO is to remove the sodium in the water.  So I go home and tell my wife about this and she also told me her doctor told her that.  my wife did not get the same response my customer did.  First lets think about what we are talking about.  We want good water to drink.  If you live on a well or have public water then you need a RO system.  Why? Because you don't know what is in your water exactly.  If you have public water you need and RO system because they too get their water either from a well or from a lake and then it is chlorinated which is not good for you and sometimes even put in flouride which is worse in some reports.  So what do we do? We buy bottled water which is processed with, wait for it, wait for it, that's right, RO and Ozone and UV.  It is then put into a bottle that can leach byproducts out of the plastic into your water and then you consume it.  How may times have you opened a bottle of water and were able to smell chlorine?  That's because they have not changed the filters to block the chlorine and then what do you think the chlorine does to the plasstic bottle you are drinking out of?  Let''s get real.  If you have a RO you know that it is working and if you are not sure you can buy your own test equip which is not too expensive or have someton come out and test it for you.  Next, don't we get some minerals from the food we eat and can't we buy vitamins and mineral at the store to take as well?  I'm not a doctor and the doctor is not a water treatment specialist.  Hey I'm not trying to get on doctors especially since I was told that a heart doctor once said that every one needs to have a RO System.  The bottom line is with the information highway out there like we have now days we need to find balance and just look around and see what is really real and give some thought to what we believe, not everything on the internet is correct- this blog can certainly be suspect as well though I do research on things like this, but wait what if my information is incorrect- well who knows but it does make sense to me and I hope it does to you.  After all its your life do as you feel but have a great day.

Best water softener in Azle Tx

Yesterday we put in a water softener in Azle Tx.  The reason I consider it the best is for the following reasons;
1. It has a 10 year warranty on the tank
2. It has a 5 year warranty on the valve
3. It has a battery back up so it won't regen at the wrong time
4. It can be set to regen whenever you want it to without having to trick the clock
5. It has a diagnostics screen that gives lots of useful information to the technician
6. Parts are easy to get and you won't need to upgrade or buy a new one in 5 years

These are just a few features and benefits of the water softener we sale.  We sale this particular type of water softener because it is important to us to take care of the customer.  There are companies out there that sale a water softener that in 5 years the softener or its part have been discontinued and they have to upgrade or buy a new one.  That is not the right way to make a company grow.  We at All American Water believe you make a company grow by referal business and that is done by taking care of customers not yourself first.  With this in mind you may want to ask the company who might sale you a water softener or work on yours a few questions.
1. Is he or she licensed? If so then ask to see it. Plumbers are not water softener technicians!!!
2. Ask them about their product and what they know about it.
3. Ask them how to disassemble it.  Many will either just sale you one or install it but cannot service it.
4. Ask them if they can name the different kinds of valves on the market- Autotrol, Fleck, Clack, Aquatech
5 Ask what kind of tank it is, Answer should be; Structural or Clack or maybe something else but it will be listed on the tank.
These are some questions that will help you when it comes to either purchasing a water softener or finding a good technician to work on yours without having to replace the whole thing since most can be repaired without replacing them.

For the best water softener we sale "Clack."  They have been in the business for a long time mostly making medias that go inside the tank but have come out on the market 10 years ago with a superior valve.  They actually got the guys from one of their competitors to help build a better valve than the one you see out there most.  None the less if you like one of the others we sale them too but we prefer the "Clack" valve over all the rest because we believe in the best.
