Water Softener Service Sunset Tx-(940)389-6850

I got a call from a man in Sunset Tx looking for the media for his water softener.  I thought that was strange since you really don't need to change the media in it for years.  I got him the new media since he had dumped his on the ground and once you do that you are not getting it back into the water softener.  Then he calls me the next day and says can you come out and help me with this valve and piston.  I drove out and found this guy is a mechanic and he had it all taken apart and cleaned very well.  That is okay except he had the teflon coating that goes on the piston cleaned off and the brass was shining like new.  The problem with this is that the brass piston has to have the teflon coating on it or water will bypass and run to drain.  Well I put in a new piston and seal and spacer kit, put the valve back together and all was well.  If you are a do it yourself kind of guy that is great, there is nothing wrong with saving some money but if you have any questions please don't be afraid to call and ask questions.  We are more than willing to help you over the phone and if we are nearby we may just come and help you at no charge.  I know you thinking yeah right! well it has been done before, you just have to be nearby.  Any way call and we will help you over the phone, as a matter of fact it is our pleasure and since we are not lawyers we won't charge you by the minute (LOL)  Call us, we want to help (940) 389-6850
